Northwestern University intends to produce Nobel laureates, renowned scholars and savvy businessmen. Sometimes it spits out a rock band.

Forming just outside Chicago in 2000, Bleeding Charity escaped the gravity of the cluttered college band world and built a local following who came out to hear and experience the unique songs the boys had penned.

Fusing the talents of Jed Brewer (vocals/guitar), Adam Hoskinson (bass/vocals/keys) and Carl Peterson (guitar), the band takes distinct songwriting and creates a performance built around charisma and high energy, with a relentless desire to play music with passion and creativity.

Their debut album, "Letters From a Dormitory Misfit," offers a fully-orchestrated peek into the lives of these three self-proclaimed strangers in the world, with 11 original tracks.
