If you're looking for fast-food rock then this is not for you, throw in some Limp Bizkit. If you're ready for something more substantial lyrically and emotionally then sit back, roll something that would make Cheech and Chong jealous, and listen to a true independent rock band.

(Warning: boring background band info, feel free to skip to the next paragraph) A Fine Line is Zack, Shag, and The Wad. We started playing music together in 2002 at an army base in Korea. Our eponymous first album was recorded there in Shag's apartment and completed in September 2003. We travelled different roads, but met up again in a couple separate and disjointed sessions at Shag's house in San Angelo, Texas between May 2004 and September 2005 to record our second album, the double disc 'Shades of the Fall'. 'Sampler' has songs from all three CDs.

A Fine Line is dedicated to the purity of music as art. If you listen to an album all the way through to get a sense of the work as a whole; if you listen to the words to see what the music is about; and if you listen to music for your mind and your soul, then the music of A Fine Line just might resonate with you. That may sound pretentious, but we are dead serious about making the best albums/concepts possible. We know we haven't reached the heights of Quadrophenia, Harvest, The White Album, OK Computer, or any Floyd album yet. But that's the plan. We promise you that rock, and art in rock, is not dead in America.

We know that we are not the majority, but we are not alone. Visit our website and let us know you're alive, what you're up to, and what you think about the music.

Thank you for listening.
