After traveling as a worship leader for the past several years, Aaron Keyes finally has an affirmative answer for everyone asking if he has his own worship album. Recently recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, Because represents Aaron's most recent heart and style in worship leading. The music plays for more than an hour on this CD, featuring 16 tracks. Songs include the rocking new "Not to Us," a new song from Psalm 115 written by Aaron, as well as other original acoustic ballads such as "Flood over Me," and several beautiful arrangements of timeless hymns like "Jesus Paid it All" featuring Aaron on piano and renowned cellist John Catchings. Aaron is joined by Laura Waters and David Walker on vocals for this album, as well as one track with Rockettown Recording artist Ronnie Freeman ("Miracles"). Tempos range from rock and roll to simple acoustic ballads. Favorites from this CD also include track 5, Vineyard UK's "Beautiful," track 8 from Hillsongs Australia, "Made me Glad," and a rocking version of "It is Well with my Soul." The overall consensus on this album is that it is Aaron's finest work, most truly representing what might happen in an hour of live worship under his leadership.
