In October of 2000, two Siena College graduates invited one of their former professors to come over for an impromptu jam session. On that day 24 Seven was born - a contemporary Christian Rock trio founded in solid musicianship, tight harmonies, introspective lyrics, and friendship. Having played churches, youth groups, coffee houses, and colleges for the past five years, 24 Seven is proud to release its sophomore CD release - "Just A Thought". 24 Seven's newest release contains the trio's signature harmonies along with rhythms that will make you move and lyrics that will make you think. The newest release represents a growth in the bands songwriting and style - including a more eclectic arrangement of songs, a broadened use of instrumentation and a more diverse display of the group's vocal abilities with all three members sharing lead and backing vocal responsibilities. "Just A Thought" musically showcases the band's return to their rock & rhythm roots while at the same time preserving the integrity of the harmonious style found in their initial release "New Day". Ultimately, "Just A Thought" represents an introspective yet optimistic outlook on life and a reflection on the assurance that God is with us.
