An expectant audience stands waiting as the alternative rock band Threefold7 takes the stage; what soon follows are 30 minutes of positive message based edgy alternative rock that leaves its mark in the ears and on the minds of the audience. The audience slowly leaves the concert hall humming one of the catchy guitar riffs or singing the melodies, only to find themselves walking directly by the members of Threefold7 being real with the audience, meeting the concert goers and talking with them. Threefold7, an alternative rock band from Bakersfield California, realizes that all people go through hard times in life...times when there seems to be no way out. Threefold7 aims to show the world that there is a way out, that there is hope to be found. That is why they aim to be "real" with people. This is the central message behind their new album "Whisper My Name". "Whisper My Name" follows their first highly successful album "Eleventh Hour". Their new album is centered on weathering various trials and hard times, always holding on to their hope in Christ, knowing that the darkness always leads to the dawn. As Threefold7 tours for the promotion of the CD, and following its release, this is the message that they will bring with them. Lives will be impacted and changed by the music of Threefold7. With the new music, Threefold7 has taken aim at honing their style and further establishing their niche in the genre of alternative rock. It is easy to fit into a musical style that is effective in pop culture. Threefold7 desires to take what is effective, enjoyed, and sought after by society, and then build upon it creating a sort of style that is highly attractive to the listener and yet still their own. The result...fans everywhere have become enamored with the unique and colorful style of Threefold7. Their modern edgy alternative rock style drives listeners past the point of listening to music...the listener finds himself in an innovative musical experience. Their soaring melodies, unique vocals, intricate guitar work, and dynamic styles are full of energy and emotion that draws in the listener and captivates his attention. Having only become a band within the last three years, Threefold7 has faced their share of trials. As a band, they have undergone a personnel change when their original drummer left the group in June 2002. They have also undergone a name change due to name recognition conflicts with another musical group based in New York. Despite it all, their vision remains true, their passion unfettered, and their drive never stronger. They know that the best lies ahead, yet to be discovered. The growing success, request for, and recognition of Threefold7 are evidence of this. Threefold7 has developed a strong local and regional following in central and northern California, has played upon invitation with national touring artists, and has performed at venues ranging from clubs to state youth conferences to venues such as the Sacramento Convention Center.
