today it goes: Almost one year, and we are already caught up in it, though a certain synergy is apparent, and we are just now trying to carry on, still awaiting the lonely empty road all too late at night, and all too weary & damaged. Seven going on twelve songs now, in such short time, impressed by that much in hopes for more, and more on top of it... in hope of promise. The scent of promise that is somehow also a memory, more intuitive than conscious and we are always transported at these times of playing too quiet and to messy to younger days, of memories that are bittersweet and precious... we send little kisses to those childhood days while our hands turn a little weaker, breathing a little deeper. and we feel looser, maybe alive, open to the world softly... an intense awareness of ourselves, yet melting into everything around us. and yet we feel feral. not a hint of baseness about it, but being stripped to the core, becoming more kinetic because of it; more heart, more body, all for the time when we can laugh so hard at whether it's in 3or4or5or7 and noone knows... where the songs have no names except the glimpse of an eye, like we say, it is worship for us... and now, hours&days later, we can still feel the heat stored in our bodies, transversing its way, radiating through our fingers and onto this that you see & hear... the first time so it was probably the hardest. The beauty of this place continues to astound us and we cannot want someday for more than seagulls over a market square, misty breezes, and a silver line on a black sea...
