Off Limits was formed in August 2001 when Johnny, Joe, and Eric, members of the funk rock band, Moflo, joined up with Darcie Rae, former singer of the band Grandma Sugar. Both bands used to gig the LA scene (The Whiskey A Go Go, The Roxy, etc.) together before Moflo lost its singer and Grandma Sugar broke up.
