From the buckle of the bible belt; Tulsa, Oklahoma, comes Lee Spitzer. Lee Spitzer was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on June 14, 1970. Lee became interested in music at a young age. His mother would play records on Sundays. "They were always the same records," Lee recalls, "Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, stuff like that." When Lee was 10 years old, he had his first experience with rock music. "We had just moved and I became friends with this kid across the street. I went to his room and there were these posters of really weird looking guys in makeup. It was KISS. I began exploring rock music after that." Lee became a fan of many different types of music. Some of his favorite artists include Kiss, Metallica, Deborah Gibson, Rush, The Police, Duran Duran, Green Day, and Nirvana. During his teenage years, Lee began making his own music. "While most of the kids were doing homework in class, I would be writing songs." Lee says, "I got a bass guitar and a keyboard and made simple home recordings. They were really rough." Lee would send these recordings to record labels, but nobody was interested. "I really didn't know anything about the music business at the time, but now I know better." In 1998, Lee became a pagan. "Ever since I was a kid, I always believed in magick and reincarnation. When I discovered Wicca, it just seemed a perfect fit for my beliefs." Lee also began looking for pagan musicians. "I discovered Wendy Rule, Inkubus Sukkubus, Elvendrums, and the like. I decided to try making a pagan album." Lee began working on his first album, "Solitary Eclectic", in 2000. "Life would get in the way and it took a long time to finish," Lee explains. He describes the album as "kind of like Nirvana with keyboards added to it." Lee played all of the instruments on the album, as well as wrote all the songs. "I think pagans who are fans of rock music will like this album."
