AGAINST THE NATURAL

To pursue a burning desire to create music, Sal and Cyd left hometown Rhode Island and ventured out to the West in 1995. After an endless search for a drummer and bass guitarist, fate brought them together with Draci – a drummer who just relocated from Massachusetts. Coincidently, Sal and Draci used to shop at the same music store back home and never crossed paths until they collided in Arizona. The band was made complete when they met up with Gretch, a bass guitarist from California who was a veteran of the Sunset Strip music scene.

Now taking Phoenix, Arizona by storm, Against the Natural is flying through a musical frenzy. With influences from hard rock, punk, and alternative, the four musicians of ATN have mastered a sound all their own. Audiences are being captivated by an energized front man, screaming licks from the guitarist blended with heavy percussions and riveting bass lines that ATN brings to the stage.

Along with regular headlining gigs at the local clubs, ATN has fresh stock of their album “Sabbath Sessions” on the shelves, and is currently on a tour of all the Zia Record Exchanges in the Southwest.

In between shows, ATN is hard at work creating and recording new material for their next album “Redemption” scheduled for release this year.
