40 Hour Sunday is a four-piece, Pop-Rock band that has emerged as one of the up and coming acts of the Chicago rock scene. They have been a high-energy opening act for several national acts including the Freddy Jones Band, Sonia Dada and Liquid Soul. "Glitter World" is their debut CD release, which features the first single "Wishful Thinker," a folky thought provoking track with a very contagious sing-along chorus. Matt Walker, formerly of Filter and the Smashing Pumpkins, is also featured on "Glitter World" bringing amazing drum-work to several tracks. 40 Hour Sunday's main influence, U2, is very present on another stand-out track, "You Know Amy," where emotional vocals and effect filled guitars power their way through this rock and roll gem.
