This is the second album with THE FUZES. Guitar-based rock music with an emphasis on blues roots and driving guitars. During the 90´s Martin Granhage(Martin Dagger) played in a band called Crash Landing where he was the guitarplayer/singer. They did a tribute to Jimi Hendrix and toured all over Sweden. THE FUZES was formed in year 2003 in Gothenburg Sweden. Martin has played with different good artists in the past. On this album Martin (guitarist/singer/songwriter) has picked up another bassplayer Stefan Popovic on several tracks, who has been involved in various projects including ex Yngwie Malmsteen drummer Michael von Knorring. He also got a great piano/keyboardplayer Jimmy Johansson on some tracks, on drums Stefan Eksteen. It´s a bluesfeel/funkrock music with a mixture of 70's rolling stones rock infl, on this album and with Jimi Hendrix/ZZ-top solostyles mixed up with THE FUZES own style of course. A powerful mix of Jimi Hendrix meets ZZ Top inspired music infused with the band unique blues rock sound that had my undivided attention. The Fuzes are; Martin Granhage on vocals/guitars as well as playing bass on groove laden "Losing My Mind", Stefan Popovic on bass, who has been involved in various projects including former Yngwie Malmsteen drummer Michael von Knorring. Stefan Bellnas playing bass on bluesy swagger of "Talking About Age", "Fool Me" and "Moving On". Rounding out the band are Stefan Eksteen on drums and Jimmy Johansson on keyboards. 'In From The Shadows' is the kind of album you put on a just turn the volume up to the max and let yourself get caught in the jam. The Fuzes have definitely come up with a winning formula that will certainly get your endorphins pumping in no time flat! Like your music heavy?, Like it born with soul? If you do then its time to get behind The Fuzes. Martin Granhage, Stefan Popovic, Stefan Bellnas Stefan Eksteen and Jimmy Johansson lay it down like no others. The songs have that explosive, sometimes funky, all the time soulful, blues rock feel to them. Talent and the essence of the music is what really counts in the end, too sad you seldom find it nowadays, except for a few exception, like The Fuzes.
