"The dominant impression you're left with is of a man who wouldn't have sounded out of place opening for Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry or Elvis."
Brett McCallon, 'Splendid' Magazine, USA

"The music had an irresistible rhythm that continued to grow on me with each listen."
Keith 'MuzikMan' Hannaleck
www.musicreviews.com USA.

"Excellent music for driving, and not necessarily a motorbike."
Rune Halland, Norway.

"The very special 'Gear Jammin' Boots & A 3-Speed Hat'... it's a great 18-wheel trans-American truck driving epic and deserves a wider hearing"
Chris Woodford, 'Now Dig This' Magazine, UK.

In 1961 as an awestruck 15 year-old, Martin Craig made a 600 mile round-trip to visit the Ace Cafe, London's famous motorcycle haunt loved by rockers, teddy boys and musicians alike. The Ace closed in 1969, but in 1973 Martin turned his memories of its glory days into a song. 'Rockin' at the Ace Cafe' was released on the Blueport label in 1979, scoring chart success in the UK and overseas.

Neon Reels is a fast-paced, 21-track album that covers Martin's recording career from 1978 to the present, featuring the original Sabre Jets, Diesel & the Firebirds and Martin and his wife's rockin' duo MG & Lynnette.

Martin's original biker's anthem 'Rockin' at the Ace Cafe' is featured in two versions, the original 1979 Blueport single and a rare one-off recording Martin made in 1998 to celebrate the Ace Cafe's reopening. Other never-before-released rarities include original vinyl tracks such as 'Voodoo Cave' and 'Radioland', studio out-takes, rehearsal tapes and a storming live version of 'Promised Land' made when the Sabre Jets were at their peak in 1978.

But Neon Reels is not about nostalgia. This album rolls like a Sunday morning blast on your favourite bike, with no less than 10 previously unreleased gems, including 5 tracks Martin recorded in 2004 to bring this collection bang up to date.

Fire it up and go!
