Imported from the UK

Despite the obvious dark undercurrent trawling through this Cd it is an audacious piece of work. Fusing a keyboard sound that would sit comfortably with the New Romantics of the eighties yet spliced with a deep heavy bass line and an indie guitar sound, Moqsha are clearly residing in a world of their own.

This is not difficult to comprehend as lead singer Vicky intones: 'All my life I have been waiting for something', sounding like the loneliest person on the planet and teetering on the edge of an abyss.

Elsewhere, Omnivore applies a deft touch to remix Super Massive Black Holes with less restraint and sparser use of vocals that help to provide a looser edge and different perspective of the Moqsha sound.

Moqsha gives us an eclectic batch of songs that help to whet the appetite for this and whatever comes next!
