7-9-7 7-9-7 is a rock outfit formed July 97' in Los Angeles, CA. Their first single ???Get me to the World on Time" from the same titled album is mixed by Rob Jacobs (Alanis Morisette, U2, Eagles) and is released on S.A.D. Music. So far 7-9-7 got raving reviews: ???Rock it"-Magazine (Germany) rated the CD a 9 of 10 possible, they also gathered outstanding reviews in publications such as ???Hits Magazine" (U.S.A) and ???Music Connection??? (L.A.). This summer the band shared the stage with acts such as Seal, Dick Brave, H-Bloxx, Motorhead, Bob Geldoff und Gianna Nanini. 7-9-7 is: Gabriel/Drums, Flo/Bass and Supermihl, Vocals/Guitars and a ???must listen to" for every fan of well crafted, modern rock music. As teenagers Gabriel and Supermihl already made an outstanding name for themselves in the music scene of Southern Germany. Eventually, Supermihl teamed up with Udo Dirkschneider, the notorious lead singer of ???Accept" and toured the world as support for the likes of ???Guns'n Roses" and ???Ozzy Ozbourne" while storming the Top 40 in Europe, U.S.A. and Japan with several releases on BMG/RCA. After his move to L.A., Supermihl worked with musicians and producers such as Eddi Kramer (Jimi Hendrix) and Richie Kotzen (Poison) both live and in the studio. His Guitar work is showcased on compilations next to artists such as Michael Schenker and Joe Satriani. 7-9-7 was formed in july 97' and after the first studio recordings and local shows the band got voted into ???Buzzing 20" - the pool of L.A.'s best. In Europe the potential of the band was soon recognized too, followed by shows as support for ???Deep Purple", ???Monster Magnet" and other big artists. Shorthly after that they started to record the 7-9-7 debut CD...11 top notch hitsongs picked from the material of the recent years. 7-9-7 just finished presenting their hit mix between American and European rock to the American fans in L.A.'s hottest clubs. The unique style of 7-9-7 can currently be heard and seen throughout Europe. 7-9-7 is the winner of the "Radio 7 - 2005 Bandcasting" and was featured on their "Sun & Fun" Tour as well as on several summer festivals hosted by southern Germany's biggest radio station. In 2004 and 2005 the band made outstanding appearances on festivals such as the "Linzgau Open Air", the "Ringfest Cologne" plus numerous TV live broadcast events such as the BBL All Star day at the Cologne Arena. Recently, lots of promo activities kicked in to announce the release of the 7-9-7 debut CD which is now scheduled october 4, 2005.
