od is, at it's core Carl adami and sarah medenbach. outloud dreamer has been writing and recording together since 1999. The initial fruits of which can be heard on the album "drink the sky", co-written by Adami and Medenbach and recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Carl Adami at his studio, Rice n Beans Southeast. od self released the album and started the process of putting together a band so they could perform live to much acclaim. ASCAP put them on their in huose A&R compilation that was distributed within the industry, been named the best Modern Rock Album of the year by commercial radio in NY State and they got themselves on 46 radio stations in the Northeast. outloud dreamer was a winner in the International Sennheiser Mic competition and were rewarded with a live performance mic. Moving forward, Carl and Sarah are more than half way through their second album, looking at a spring release. One of the few rules od has established is that there are on preconceived notions allowed - there are no little boxes to put themselves in. That's why "drink the sky" was written and that is what the band is about - enjoying the music, exploring the creative process, expanding their own horizones and having a good time connecting with others. The interesting thing that has happened so far is that od represents something just a little different to everybody and they like it that way. The idea that music can cross boundaries and genres and touch people personally is what it's about. So what kind of music is this? It's great music, music that does what music is supposed to do - it moves you, it touched you, it expresses ideas and emotions that you can identify with. Give a listen... femal vocals, groovey-loopy bass, slide bass, new stuff, new sounds, great beats (great lettuce) - great music. thanks Check out the artist's website: http://www.outlouddreamer.com Track List: 1.
