Nikki Teeuw is a completely original singer/songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia. Nikki has been writing and recording her own original material for many years, from working with Hip/Hop Dj's to the more electro sounds she acheives with her long-time song-writing partner, Sean Flannery. She has been gigging around her home town sporadically for the past few years, but much of 2004/05 she says, has been spent recording her E.P 'Got my Groove Back' with friend Susie Ahern. And this is a very groove driven e.p. A fusion of funk, electro and pop that results in some very catchy tunes which are only enhanced with Nikki's unmistakable vocals. Nikki clearly has a passion for progressive sounds and pop hooks and is extremely excited about hitting the road with her new band and playing live again.
