Alan Lauris began composing at a young age in the end of the 1980's. In the 90's he wrote several musicals and was half of a succesfull Dutch duo, which recorded several CD's. He collaborated with many people, and started around 2000 to work on his solo-career with songs in english. He writes, arranges and records his music in his own studio, called Canal Island Studios.
