Sir Dilla aka Stephen Constant was born on November 19, 1985 in Boston, Ma. Since he was a fetus in the womb of his mother Cathy, the music drug pumped through his veins. His father Errol is a musician/songwriter from the island of Antigua. His dream was to spread Caribbean music to the masses. At the age of six, Dilla and his sister Donatella adopted the violin and studied classical music at the New England Conservatory's, Step Program. At the end of 15, Dilla taught himself how to play chords on the piano, and participated in Berklee's mentor program for 3 years. Ever since then, he has been constantly in the studio brainstorming ideas. In 2004, Dilla made his first album entitled; Stir up the Pot volume 1. Dillaman is a scientist composing musical equations that will change the arts forever. His style called SOCA HOP mixes West Indian riddims,Hip-Hop lyrics, and classical melodies.
