"I remember the date, 7/18/92, the day I first picked up a guitar. It was a classical, nylon string, called a Sango. I still have it. It was a rather dark time of my life and I remember finding comfort in the sounds that resonated as I plucked away. I had always loved listening to music, but never had the desire to make music... until that moment. Little did I know that somewhere deep inside, there was an overwhelming desire to tell my story. Littleton Jones Littleton Jones is one of the most promising new singer/songwriters emerging today, with a sound that draws on alternative-pop, funk, classic-rock, world-beat, and Latin influences. Most engaging is the sense of intimacy in his voice, honesty in his lyrics, and the feeling that his songs are our songs. It's as if he weaved all our life's experiences together with his and gave us a voice to comfort us. Born and raised in the Garden State, Littleton Jones has been performing both solo and with a band since 2003, primarily in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area. In 2005, Jones relocated to Los Angeles where he is currently working on the follow-up to his debut cd Somewhere Deep Inside. Since the release of Somewhere Deep Inside in 2003, seven out of the twelve tracks have been featured in Broadjam's Top 10. Three tracks have charted in the Top 40 at Garageband.com and RocketRadio.com. Littleton Jones received an Honor Award in the Great American Song Contest 2003 for his fiery Latin-flavored pop-rock tune One Thing You Lack. Jones is one of the Featured Artists at Mperia.com, where his signature song Been Diggin' is one of the All-Time Top Tracks (Best No. 2). His single Falling, a sultry pop-rock ballad, was the Second Place Winner in the December 2004 MakeAStar.com Song Contest and is his Top Selling Song at iTunes.
