Lisasmith is a singer/songwriter from New York.

Her song, For All I Am, is the theme song to Moody’s Point, from Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show. In addition to Moody’s Point, Nickelodeon’s latest show, Zoey 101, (starring Jamie Lynn Spears), features the tracks Mudskipper and You Don't Know Me. Future episodes of the show Drake & Josh will also feature music from Lisasmith.

Her music has also been selected to appear on several music compilation discs, including Listen, Learn and Groove Volume 3 CD, released by the Femalemusician.com. Her song, My Radio History, was chosen as the opening musical track.

Lisasmith’s music has been used in several independent movies, including the horror flick, Naked Fear, and the gangster film, West New York, starring Frank Vincent (Goodfellas, Raging Bull), Gian DiDonna (Alive, The Funeral), Victor Colicchio (Goodfellas, Summer of Sam) and Vinny Pastore (The Sopranos, Carlito’s Way).

Her latest musical contribution is featured on the soundtrack of the new independent film, Mattie Fresno and the Holoflux Universe (Angela Pierce, Orson Bean, Carol Alt) released in the summer of 2005. (www.mattiefresno.com) Lisasmith collaborated with the film’s director, Phil Gallo on the movie’s theme song, Hello, It’s Me.

Selections from her last CD, The Plight of a Rejected Girl, are included in the score of the play, True Story, which has premiered in indie theaters in L.A.

Lisasmith latest CD is Spirit of '76, just released in March 2006. Look for it on CD Baby and iTunes.
