Eva Adam was founded by Eva Anderson and Harald Hanisch. They first met each other at “Haralds best friend's wedding†performing songs during the wedding ceremony. They fell in love and decided to start a project where they would write and perform songs together. Before focusing on their careers as singer/songwriters they were a successful songwriting team for other artists. Their song "Ich Lebe" (performed by Christina Stuermer) remained the number one hit of the Austrian Billboard Charts for nine weeks and achieved triple gold. In spring 2005 the single went up to number four in the German Billboard Charts within three weeks and sold over 100.000 copies. The original English version of "Ich lebe" is called "Gone Digging" and is part of Eva Adam's debut album as singer/songwriters.
