Chris Worth spent much of his life in the Cleveland, Ohio area where he was exposed to the national music scene. At an early age Chris became interested in music through school and church choirs. Eventually, this interest, and his obvious talent, led him to pursue a career in music.

Besides doing some west coast studio sessions, Chris has had several opportunities to tour the country.

When performing live, Chris often features renditions of his favorite Earth Wind & Fire tunes to the delight and astonishment of his audience. His rendition of "Fantasy" or "Reasons", two famous EWF tunes, always leaves the audience spellbound. In fact, he cannot perform a gig without someone requesting that he perform an Earth, Wind & Fire selection. Yet Chris is just as comfortable and adept at singing a country song by Vince Gill, or an Elton John pop tune. His range of voice and versatility have made he and his partner Paul New Stewart, one of the most popular groups in the Fort Wayne, area.

The Chris & Paul Duo

Chris moved to Fort Wayne in 1998, and met up with his current partner, Paul New Stewart when he wandered into a local karaoke bar called Crooners. Paul heard that voice, and for once - actually paid attention to a karaoke singer. Paul and Chris have been together performing at various clubs around Fort Wayne ever since.

Chris Wins Second Consecutive Whammy Award!

For those who aren't from this area, the Whammy is Fort Wayne's answer to the Grammy Award and recognizes local artists for their talent and achievements during the year. This year Chris was voted Best R&B Artist. Although Chris can't be categorized as totally R&B, his voice and talent are just too far-ranging, he was pleased to be voted a Whammy for the category. The artists are nominated by local bar owners, event planners, and booking agents and then the fans vote on forms provided through the Whatzup Magazine, and available at their favorite bar or club.

Chris Worth has plans to team up with a 3 member band for additional audience-pleasing live performances. The band consisting of George Ogg, jazz guitarist, Eric Clancy on keyboards, and Tim Beeler bass, will begin performing mid to late November, 2003 in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area.
