Broose Dickinson drop kicks and rolls the Texas singer/songwriter stereotype. A trained artist, Broose approaches song writing with the same neurotic fastidiousness as when he paints a canvas. Like the blood-thirsty carnivore that he still is, Broose took down the Deep Ellum music scene in the '90's as frontman for Dallas band, Pop Poppins, where he had regional success playing a precursor to "emo" during "grunge's" hey day. With a good dose of humor, a bit of rock n' roll, and a shot of sweetness, London Static is a beacon of hope in a sea of similarity. For London Static, Broose re-recorded some of the songs off of Psychsomatic Static, with the added production genius of Charles Reeves, and recording facilities at the Famous Yard, London, UK.
