BACKGROUND Starting on the periphery of the dream pop scene in early 90's Los Angeles, The Sugarplastic had their first breakthrough during a signing binge at DGC (Geffen) Records. Bang, The Earth is Round was released to critical praise in 1996 and despite constant fluctuations in the music business, The Sugarplastic maintain a solid and rabid fan base to this day, and continue to play out and record. "7X7X7" was originally released on vinyl only. From 2003 through 2004, seven 7" records were released in very limited quantities. The records were on colored vinyl and included two tracks each, one by Ben Eshbach of The Sugarplastic, and the other by Kiara Geller, also of The Sugarplastic. As time passed, we realized the songs should live on in digital format, so we have compiled them here. PLEASE NOTE: This cd is professionally produced and manufactured, BUT it is packaged in a simple black and white slip case and there are no liner notes to speak of.
