In a world of cynical and banal marketing, most true inspiration seems to be lost in a sea of mediocrity and shock value. We can't trust big business and corporate media to bring us art that satisfies the soul. We've created Rosemont Recordings to bring you what we feel is missing - music that touches the inside, music that is true. We feel the need to share our passion for the music that stirs us. The group that is now Rosemont Recordings actually formed years ago by a group of musicians that had been recording and performing together since the early nineties. At the time, no one knew how important music would become in our lives. We've accomplished a great deal over the years, from recording over 130 songs to building our own recording studio. We formalized Rosemont Recordings in 1998 to take advantage of the possibilities only the internet can provide and we're learning how to run a business through promoting ourselves and our music on the web. Our music has evolved to be thoughtful and textural while retaining an honest and emotional edge. If our venture allows us to pay our bills, we'll consider it as our second success - we already know the music is the first.
