Phil's newest "Party Platter" (2005 - hear blues/rock "Oh Me" from the film "American Shopper" & a VH1 Song of the Year finalist "Rocky Mountain Railroad") cd & previews are available at http://cdbaby.com/townley2 Pop rocks with an often tropical beat in Phil Townley's 2003 instrumental album "Gulfstream Gondolier." Everything you hear on "Gulfstream Gondolier" was composed and performed by Phil. His upbeat music ranges from hot dance to sweet with a beat. As a kid, he was often carried to the piano and asked to perform the rock he had learned by listening to the radio. He has since performed, playing banks of keyboards, in several popular touring bands in the northeast. Phil has composed and recorded over 100 songs. A bodysurfer, world traveler, and biker, he now makes his home near the beach in Ponce Inlet, Florida. Many of his most popular performances are to be found on his all-instrumental release, "Gulfstream Gondolier." Imagine the gondolier driving his red convertible to the dock, poling his passengers in the Gulfstream, and straying a bit as they visit rhythms around the world. Listen for yourself to find out if they succeed in making landfall. Try the samples, and try to hold still while doing your research.
