"Accordions, organs, theremins, and the occasional brass horn and homemade instrument combine to make soundscapes that are both haunting and entertaining."
-The New Yorker

"Nino Rota on processed sugar"
-The Brooklyn Rail

"....gypsy-klezmer circus-flea-cartoon-music you mainly hear in your dreams"
-The Forward

The Pumpkin Pie Show is a New York City based theater company led by Clay McLeod Chapman. One Ring Zero served as the musical component for seven entirely different runs. Within each run, Michael Hearst and Joshua Camp would perform live on stage, providing their original score for each monologue as well as the interludes between each act.

In 2002, "Interludes and Out-takes from the Pumpkin Pie Show" was released as One Ring Zero's second CD. The album received much acclaim and easily stands on its own-regardless of whether or not you were fortunate enough to have attended a Pumpkin Pie Show.
