The sound of Lily Fraser: "Lily's voice, at times angelic and fragile, at others charged and seductive, rides high over a playground of beautiful instruments: Concert Harp, Cello, double bass, guitar and drums." "there is something magical and quite beautifully strange about Lily and her music....the juxtaposition of dignity and abandonment." The Nurture of Lily Fraser: Born and bred in Cornwall, raised in the middle of nowhere, nourished on honey comb, bathed in mud and rinsed in creek water.... Lily seems quite normal in every day life...... The Nature of Lily Fraser: Her songs are sometimes brooding, sometimes cutting and sometimes a bit pissed off, but she's just as capable of delivering something to lift the darkest of spirits. She professes to have experienced love and loss in equal proportions, that she is as much light as she is dark. "Aren't we all?" The Facts about Lily Fraser: Lily Fraser was born and raised at the Sawmills studio, Cornwall. She is one of 6 children, coming in at number 3. She moved from the middle of nowhere to her first Cornish village at the age of 22 and discovered a few basic facts about village life: closing the curtains to get changed, neighbors, roadside parking and milk on the doorstep. A year later she decided to try the city of Bristol before finally taking the plunge and moving to London two years ago. And so she climbed from comfort to chaos in a few short steps, But one thing seems to ring loud and clear: Not even the London smoke can dampen the free spirit of a child born in the Cornish wilds! The Cohorts of Lily Fraser; Since Lily has been 'Lily Fraser' solo, she has worked with a variety of producers ranging from Steve Hillier (Dubstar) through DJ Suv (Represent) to Michael Dempsy (The Cure). She has written her most loved songs with the producer JTLundie and a variety of other innovative producers including The Lewinson bros, Mads Hauge and Ralf Hildenbeutel. The band of Lily Fraser: She formed the core of her current band in the spring of 2004..... perfecting the line up of Milly pay on Harp(for magic), Adi Wininsky on cello(for mystery), Lawrence Hudson on bass(for instinct) and Tom Glendining on drums(for the rhythms of the soul) by adding a final Greg Edwards on guitar(for Rocking out) in June 2005!
