A unique alternative/pop sound from the AZ desert mixing strong, powerful female vocals with creative guitar work, and a tight rhythm section. The Velvet Roses have been playing the Phoenix/Tempe scene since '96 and released the CD Bliss In Chaos in November of 1998. Since its release, the band has played on Good Morning AZ, a local television show, received a full page article in Get Out magazine, and have begun receiving spins on KZON, 101.5 FM Phoenix. The catchy upbeat tunes bring you in with the beat, and keep ya coming back with the melody and lyrics of lead singer Melissa Erin. Her blissful singing style weaves its way into out of and over the Chaos of the lead guitar work of Steve Russell.
