BIO - The Turning, originally named Two Weeks in July, came into existence 3-1/2 years ago in the spring of 2001 . The band was founded around the combined vision of Matt Warren(guitars) and Jeff Goff(drums) to create songs that combined soaring melodies and aggressive pop rock with lyrics that go beyond the surface to the deeper issues of the heart. With the addition of Jacob McGinnis(vocals) and Jeremy Little(bass) the current line-up for The Turning was complete. Over the past 3 years the band has split their time between playing praise and worship at several churches in the Chattanooga area and opening for a variety of regional and national acts including, Audio Adrenaline, Todd Agnew, Kutless, 1000 Foot Krutch, Bleach, and Luna Halo. Most recently, the band has made the commitment to pursue their music career in a more aggressive fashion that has included making the move to the Nashville area. With influences including The Police, Radiohead and The Cars, The Turning promises a great live show that reaches beyond the surface into the deeper questions of life and eternity. Track List: 1.
