Headed by singer/songwriter/musician/producer- Lauran Gangl- has proven her vision thru the UK, Europe, South Florida and now in Los Angeles, CA. Lauran "gangbang" Gangl, originally from Glasgow, Scotland; has had several forms of a "GANG". She spearheaded the music world with her first band, "Laurang/Girl In The Gang" and been banging her way with such powerhouse musicians as Danny Elfman (Oingo Boingo- Batman/Simpsons soundtracks), Deon Estes (George Michael), Todd Rungren and Dweezil Zappa as a back-up band. Much in the vein of The Pretenders/Chrissie Hynde- one female genius with a great band behind her- from songwriting, performing, and drums, guitar and keyboards; she totally lives her craft. She has a five octave range and performed with the Greater Miami Opera and Paris Theatre Opera company in France. Lauran has been able to create a most eclectic powerful music catalog by merging her classical knowledge with her rock sensibility, ala Queen, Kate Bush, Bjork- to name a few comparisons. The GangBangs UK have been released on EMI UK and in USA - Giant Records and now on EMI Indy group- High Profile Records with live concert videos and MTV appearances Recent appearances have been with Lenny Kravitz, Beck, and Liz Phair. THE GANGBANGS UK inject variety into their live performances and music. THE GANGBANGS UK are able to combine their great technical abilities with a passionate and upbeat/positive delivery.
