Enjoy the journey...but don't get too comfortable. The music of Pilgrim's Progress will move you like a fright train along a series of emotional explorations into faith, hope, love, and forgiveness. Prepare to take in a sonic landscape that is hard to explain but easy to experience.

Serving up acoustic pop with a twist of retro-alternative rock, this Philadelphia area band of three brothers and one sister is a savory blend of soulful vocals, tight harmonies, and powerful, compelling lyrics. Lead singer and songwriter Steve Garrett - who has gone on to a solo career in Nashville (http://www.stevegarrett.net) - combining his ringing guitar rhythms with the innovative bass grooves of Phil Garrett, and the rock-solid backbeats of Dave Garrett nearly completes the mix. Reta Garrett Watkins adds the final ingredients with her lead vocal trade-offs, and soaring harmonies.

This critically acclaimed independent project (produced by David Huff) was originally released in 1999 and helped Pilgrim's Progress gather a significant fan base in the northeastern United States as they began playing close to 100 shows and worship events per year.

Regional radia in PA and NY further fueled the buzz by getting behind a number of radio singles and helping them score two consecutive top 5 charting singles in a major CHR market. Steve Garrett and his sibling band went on to open for FFH, and play numerous festivals along with artists such as the Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, and more.
