Oldschool Houserock (OSHR) is a web site and news letter which acts as a banner for a group of Portland artists. Selection is done by peer process. These bands don't pay to be on the roster. Nor does OSHR make money off the bands. It is strictly a brand whose primary mission is to see its members successful in making their art.

OSHR Compilations are promotional CDs that showcase the best material from NW bands and artists. The CDs are sent to: local media, online zines, radio stations, colleges, and clubs; heavily distributed in the NW and through other parts of the United States.

Who are some of the main acts featured?
* Dr. Theopolis - Headlining this year's Hoodfest in Hood River which coincides with the Gorge Games, expecting over 3000 attendees. Dr Theopolis is soon to tour nationally.

* Jonah - Had a song featured on Dawson's Creek, currently managed by Chris Long (Queens of the Stone Age, Counting Crows).

* Little Sue - One of Portland's top drawing performers for over 5 years, Little Sue plays alt country and straight up rock.

* Charmparticles - Formerly made lots of press as the band Drive from Eugene, the Cps renamed themselves and relocated to Portland. Top drawing act on the Indie Pop scene.
