The band NIGHTSPELL was created in the studio in 1998 by Producer and Guitarist Jimi Chanti. Jimi put together a group of some of the best local studio musicians in the NJ area to help him with their first release. The cd DREAMS was released in DEC 2000 and sold 4500 copies in Japan and the UK. Jimi's idea of a band is a band without any limits,a band that can experiment musically and still keep listeners interested. We did not want to be a clone band like so many on the radio today.We wanted to be a group that really was original. The band went back into the studio and recorded and released their new cd MAGIC. After listening to MAGIC you realize the diversity of this group. With the opening song FLY SO HIGH a pop dance song that could get anybody on the floor. Also the beautiful ballad TOGETHER WE WIN you feel the emotion of the love and lust relationship between two people.
