This CD, recorded completely live, is my humble attempt to celebrate the music of Elton John. Comprised of many of his familiar songs, it also contains some of his lesser-known compositions special to me. Songs such as "Mona Lisas and Madhatters" & "Friends", that has and continues to inspire me from the first time I heard them. Thank you Elton for the difference your music has made in my life. Roger A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Roger Hernandez has been performing for over twenty five years and since the age of 19 has been opening concerts with national recording artists such as Pat Benetar, Robert Palmer, Bruce Hornsby, Seals & Croft and Hall & Oates, to name a few and continues to do so. In March of 1999, Roger was invited to perform before the members of the United States Congress and their families at the Bipartisan Congressional Retreat held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Normally performing both on piano and acoustic guitar, Roger commands a varied repertoire offering a wide range of performance styles in English as well as Spanish. With this project Roger sets aside his guitar and produced a powerful, heartfelt, emotionally charged and dynamic "Tribute" to the music of one of our times most popular and distinguished singer/songwritters, Elton John. Well done Roger! Keep up the good work! Check out the artist's website: http://www.rogerhernandez.com Track List: 1. Your Song 2. Sixty Years On/ The Greatest Discovery 3. Tiny Dancer 4.
