This is Amy Cross' first album of all orginial music. They are songs mainly written during her first three years of college. The fourteen tracks on this album flirt with almost every emotion a person can have. Amy grew up with music in the house. She started taking classical piano lessons at a very young age, which gave her the background and knowledge of music theory, a well-trained ear, and the ability to write music. Amy began writing piano pieces that reflected her love for Broadway and film scores. Amy loved to harmonize with artists on her tapes as a young child. She would sit in her room and record herself harmonizing with various artists. As the years progressed, Amy began to write lyrics to her music. Amy started singing at a young age, but realized her talent in performing arts high-school when she joined the chorus and was selected to be a part of an eight-member traveling singing group, and one of four to be in an All-Star Chorus. She is currently a Senior at Florida State University, School of Music, majoring in Commercial Music. Amy is also a guitarist and flutist. She performs gigs around the college town of Tallahassee and was nominated "Best Songwriter of the Year" in the second annual Big Time Talent Show of Boca Raton, Florida.
