Recipe for Zweng:

1) Coat pan with Delta-brand Mississippi grease.
2) Mix in 3 parts Beatles; 1 part Lennon for lyrical base, 1 part McCartney for musicality, and 1 part Harrison for spontaneity.
3) Fold in equal parts Johnny Cash and Kurt Cobain for added lyrical Americanism.
4) Temper mixture with Tom Petty brand Cool-Aid.
5) Using your Iggy and the Stooges punk rock oven glove, throw the mixture on the ground.
6) Kick it.
7) Stomp it out repeatedly.
8) For added flavor, spit and piss in the mixture.
9) Allow to set for 10 minutes until a simple Ramones base is achieved.
10) Refine mixture with a dash of Elliot Smith and a pinch of Daniel Johnston or the Buzzcocks to taste.
11) Add in equal parts David Bowie and The Clash for sonic and political flavor.
12)Allow 30 mins. for the mixture to rise.
13) Heat at 350 degrees for 45 mins.
14) Serve cool to achieve best rhythmic and melodic results.
15) Enjoy your Zweng.
