Val Yumm and Her Band of Miscreants puts it all out there - blistering raw with energy, yet emotional and insightful, and definitely hot and heavy.

Val Yumm and Her Band of Miscreants have had the Mid-Atlantic scene buzzing since mid- 2002 with a sound that's described as balls-to-the-wall Rock 'n' Roll smoothed over with a pop-sensibility reminiscent of such bands as The Pixies, Weezer and Nirvana to Blondie and The Pretenders.

Though the band calls Baltimore, MD home, they consistently tour the Mid- Atlantic, expanding their already loyal audience and gaining momentum as they go. They have also had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of music's heaviest hitters such as Dick Dale, Tom Tom Club,Butterfly Joe (ex- Dead Milkmen), Leif Garrett, Lake Trout, 2 Skinnee J's, Good Charlotte, Jah Works, and Mary Prankster.

For two years in a row (2002-2003) the band has played the legendary HFSTIVAL at which such bands as Jane's Addiction, The Strokes, Staind, Godsmack, Interpol, The Roots, The Donnas and countless more national and international acts headlined.

The release of their highly anticipated debut album (February 2003) has only amplified the impact they have and will make on the alternative rock scene in years to come.
