Kiara Geller has been a member of The Sugarplastic for more than half his life. His contributions as co-songwriter and bass player round out an already unique sound with more depth and focus. A life-long resident of Los Angeles, (his father was a hairdresser to Elvis Presley,) Kiara has soaked up the traditions of a town that fights tradition every step of the way. He maintains an attachment to the pop history of L.A. while seeking to modernize all the work that has inspired him.

He is influenced just as much by 70's heavy metal as he is by vintage lounge and exotica music. This combination apparently leads to an indie-pop sound reminiscent of Guided By Voices on a mellow trip.

Kiara strikes out on his own, putting his unique perspective and voice to melodies both charming and angular.
