A Polynesian/Chinese Kiwi, born and educated in a small suburb of South Auckland (Papakura), New Zealand. After about 30 years, he'd gotten married and left his beloved country for a backpacker's life around the world with a jumping-off point from Wisconsin, U.S.A.

During an intensive and exhausting trek of the Americas (1999 to 2001), began playing a small travel guitar to pass the time waiting at bus stations and long nights in villages without electricity.

Fast-forward to 2001 in Japan; a few gigs here and there around central Tokyo (namely British and Irish bars) performing covers of western favorites by Oasis, Beatles, U2, Radiohead and Coldplay in a solo acoustic format. Eventually, the progressive development of an unorthodox guitar style in his live performances attracts a small following among young Tokyoites and foreign residents alike.

In 2004, still in the spirit of a wandering lifestyle, he and his wife move to the island of Guam and there he makes the transition from cover musician to indie singer/songwriter making primitive D.I.Y recordings at home. His somewhat dark/reflective compositions can be heard on his website.
