Seth Kallen is a young and driven singer/songwriter from Yardley, PA. With his debut album "It Occurred to Me", he blends together elements of folk, rock, jazz, and pop to create a dynamic and original sound. The album is filled with soaring melodies and rich musical landscapes that captivate listeners immediately. Seth's words are passionate and honest, sometimes even funny, and they mix with his unique vocal techniques to create a very eclectic, and always catchy sound. Derek Chafin, the producer of "It Occurred to Me" and founder of AIR Records has said "Impossibly catchy...Seth already possesses the songwriting chops of people twice his age. His songs are well crafted, beautifully sung and, most importantly, you'll be humming them for days after you first hear them. Seth cites a diverse group of artists as influences on him including everyone from ethereal songwriter Jeff Buckley, to British powerhouses Oasis, Travis and Radiohead, to alt-country guitar heroes Rhett Miller, Ryan Adams, and Wilco, to indie-rock bands The Strokes, and The Shins. He also draws many of his funky rhythms from artists such as Bob Schneider, G Love & Special Sauce, and The Police. Many people have equated his music with the likes of today's songwriters Jason Mraz, Ben Folds, and John Mayer. Seth "comes from the new singer/songwriter school, with the likes of Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson, but he's obviously in the advanced class."
