See Spot Run, is an acoustic folk-rock band that performs and records authentic,roots-based music with folk, rock, and world influences. The band members are:

Steve Potts: guitars,mandolin
Barb Potts: lead vocals
Robert Fernandez: bass guitar
Haven Harris: djembe,percussions
Joanie Chiasera: violin

See Spot Run began in 1997 in San Diego, ca with singer/songwriting team Steve and Barb Potts. In early stages, SSR would play local coffee houses as a duet, with Steve on acoustic guitar and Barb on vocals. Their first CD, "Its A Dog's Life" was recorded in late 1997 and contains several tracks that are still favorites when SSR play live today. A second CD, "Dog Beach" was released in 2001. This marked the strart of a stretch beyond the acoustic singer/songwriter structure and featured violinist Joanie Chiasera on the track "soul So Deep". Steve had recorded the bass guitar lines for the CD, but in order to support the burgeoning material for live performances, it was clear the band needed to expand beyond the duet format. This led to the recruitment of long time friend and bassist Robert Fernandez. At this point in the band's history, Barb added assorted hand percussions as well as rhythm guitar. To furthur cultivate their unique and evolving sound, Haven Harris joined in on dejembe in 2002, solidifying the rhythm section and creating another earthly layer of texture to their music.
With a four-piece acoustic folk rock band firmly in place, adeep ctalog of songs evolved, which were recorded to a double disk that was released in june of 2005. This latest CD, appropriately entitled "Double Dingo", represents a solid progression, not only in the uniqueness of the SSR sound, but also in terms of songwriting, musicianship, and lyrical depth. The recording again featured guest artist Joanie Chiasera, who formally joined the band in the summer of 2005. SSr has a deep well of material, and the band is continually recording their new creations and performing live, playing to their faithful "Spotheads" and new audiences alike. In appreciation of their supportive fan base, their website URL was created in their namesake. For more info, visit www.spotheads.com.
