Tall Tales is a storybook illustrated by a man who wants to grasp what life is all about but ends up shoving in our faces the fact that life is shit and one must make mushrooms out of it. "Tales" is David Korgans first venture out to gain a wider audience. When one gives a listen to this first effort you will find a strange new world. Opening the album with 'Chance" you drift into a wonderland of sounds only to find that someone is telling you something. Further listening we find a highpoint with 'Wish I Was You... The perfect anti-pop song. There is also a hint of parody to 'Like a Virgin' in the song "Impossible" which holds up strong as a single of its own. Much of the album races around in themes giving the listener the feel that there is a joke to be let in on. But what is the joke and is it funny. Give a listen and find out.
