BREE SHARP Back with a vengeance, BREE SHARP's second album, More B.S., is crafted with razor sharp insight and pulses with an independent spirit. With coverage from Rolling Stone to Spin, Entertainment Weekly to People Magazine, TV Guide to Maxim, Harper's Bazaar to Elle, BREE has earned admiration and support from the media and fans alike. Rolling Stone has called BREE "An unusually intelligent and tuneful singer-songwriter," while Entertainment Weekly has praised that she "shows a knack for catchy, clever rockers." The dynamic songwriter revels in a twisted mix of heartbreak, fantasy and social commentary. A Cheap and Evil Girl, BREE's galvanizing 1999 debut album, found the singer-songwriter receiving positive press and a wide, loyal audience. The cult-like stature of her premiere single "David Duchovny" was followed up with the ironic and pointed "America," a song that continues to have great lyrical significance. With tours including Lilith Fair to MTV's Campus Invasion 2000 (with Bush and Moby), BREE has honed her distinctively charismatic and theatrical performance style. Born and raised in Philadelphia, BREE learned to play guitar at 15. She moved to New York City to study with David Mamet's Atlantic Theater Company. Since graduating from NYU, she has stayed in Manhattan, where she continues to write and play music. BREE is influenced by singer-songwriters ranging from Elvis Costello to Bob Dylan and Patti Smith to Patty Griffin. BREE has the reins and is ready to deliver the potent rock sounds that embody what some would hail as her masterpiece, but she simply calls More B.S.! # # # Check out the artist's website: http://www.BreeSharp.com Track List: 1.
