Love is the greatest of motivators. In love, you soar over all your problems while souls merge. Without love, anguish can smother. When love and anguish collide, it is the catalyst of many sagas, some of which develop into songs. Alan Pollard started writing songs again. At the same time, Bon Lozaga, owner of Lolo Records and fabulous guitar player from the band Gong, was looking for songs for a new talent he had recently signed. With three songs recently completed, Alan Pollard headed to Philadelphia to showcase his songs to Lolo Records. The outcome was unpredicted. There, it was decided that the songs would be the backbone of Alan Pollard's CD. Getting the songs from the bedroom to the studio was a challenge, until Peter Donnelly got involved. Pete, a seasoned veteran of the music business, captured the emotions that bled from the songs. With the right mix of talented musicians, Alan's first CD, "See It For What It Is", was born. Today, the CD is complete and will be available at the end of February 2004. These are songs that have a definitive start and finish and are filled with heart-wrenching imagery. Anyone who has ever loved can relate to Alan's songs. Track List: 1. See It For What It Is 2. Holding On Too Long 3. I'm Sorry 4. Just The Way It Is 5. Mist In Mirrors 6. She 7. Best Of Friends 8.
