Edison Woods knows there is no beauty without mystery. Their repertoire spans from the most timid, humble ponderings, to strange and haunting dreams.

The group is directed by Julia Frodahl, and features a heavenly cast of artists and musicians including Maxim Moston (Antony & The Johnson's), David Berger (Elysian Fields), Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins), and Steve Ulrich (The Big Lazy).

Edison Woods' self-titled debut, released in February 2000, received critical acclaim for it's sincere and tender sound. Their second album, "7 Principles of Leave No Trace" was internationally praised as "a masterpiece of music, outside of time and space".

The current ensemble includes piano, accordion, violin, cello, baritone sax, guitar, bass, and drums. You might find them haunting the theatres of Spain, or in the after-hours of New York City. To learn about tour dates or their next release, visit www.edisonwoods.net.
