Bonk Bonk Madi is a the project of Meghan Bahn (erstwhile bassist of "Lackadaisy" and "Merry Go Round") and Chris Wedertz (erstwhile singer of "Lackadaisy" and current member of "Chris Wedertz"). Meghan and Chris co-wrote these bittersweet, cheerily maladjusted songs, sang, and played the instruments (except for drums on 3 songs, played by fabulous guest drummer Rick Walker). Online 'zine Splendid has this to say: "You're not gonna believe this, but this week I'm going to try to convince you that you might have room in your collection for yet another lo-fi boy/girl pop group.
