Gwen Snyder is a singer/songwriter/pianist who has made a splash in NYC with her band Blueberry and also as the bassist for the critically acclaimed band Johnny Society as well as with Dave Pirner of Soul Asylum. Floating Blueberry members include Zack Alford (of the B-52s and David Bowie) on drums, Lonny Hillyer (Bernie Worrell) on bass and Adam Widoff (Toshi Reagan and Lenny Kravitz) on guitar as well as Kenny Siegal on bass and Brian Geltner on drums (Johnny Society). Ms. Snyder also Produces and Arranges most of Blueberry's material. Look out for Blueberry's soon-to-be-released storybook album "Have Another Pillow". Bluberry is one of the few vintage dance bands in existence that performs live with a full horn section and conjures up images of Sly and the Family Stone at their peak.
