Dalton Grant "Are we here by mistake?" (from the song 'Lucky') Make no mistake, the debut CD titled 'Opium' from Kansas City-born, L.A. import Dalton Grant and his band makes you stand up, stand back and hang on... The band --Dalton Grant (lead vocals and guitar); Aaron Britt (bass); Bill Bell (lead guitar); Andy Levy (keyboards); and Joey Ponchetti (drums) -- has performed with the likes of Stone Temple Pilots, Hoobastank, Joe Firstman, Palo Alto, Duff McKagan (Guns & Roses), Dave Wakeling (English Beat/General Public) and Tonic. As well as touring the U.S., and appearing at Austin's 'South By Southwest', the band has also performed live at well-known Los Angeles venues and clubs such as The Viper Room, Dragonfly, House Of Blues, The Roxy, The Troubadour, The Whiskey, Ivar and Hotel Cafe. Movie soundtrack credits include 'Desperate But Not Serious' (Claudia Schiffer); 'Pinata: Survival Island' (Nicholas Brendon, Jaime Pressley, 'Not Another Teen Movie'); and the HBO Pictures production 'The Gristle' (Michael Dorn, 'Star Trek': The Next Generation.) The group's music has also been licensed for original programming by MTV and has been featured prominently in television shows including 'The Real World', 'Making the Video' and 'Road Rules'. Most recently, three Dalton Grant songs were featured on the soundtrack to 'Cruel Intentions 3'.
