Formed in the summer or the year 2000, Alaris began to bloom in the basement of Brandon Romine's (drummer) parent's house in Tecumseh MI. We wrote a few songs and just enjoyed hanging out on Wednesday nights. Before we knew it we had written enough songs to play concerts and had started to see the Lord's favor in many ways. Over time we added Jake Rye as our bassist (formerly of CapSoul) and recorded our debut album "Nothing Familiar".

We believe that writing and playing music is our gift from God that is a tool to be used to share the gospel. Our calling; which is every Christian's calling is to share the gospel to the world through how we live, and how we treat those who are around us. Music can be a temporary thing but salvation is eternal.

We will continue to write music and share the gospel in this manner for as long as the Lord allows us. We all hope that this lasts for a long time because we love it so much. I'm sure many bands can relate. We just want to serve the Lord where ever he has us.
